  3. I have a proposition.
  4. What we need is a working basis to develop the BM project. Doug is the
  5. author of the 3D engine. He wants to keep it secret, and he has every right
  6. to do so. Of course it goes against the very basic ideas of BM, but well.
  7. His arguments are that he makes a living with some of these alogorithms. OK.
  8. So, for the moment, to provide us with a working basis, would it be possible
  9. for Doug to provide us with a "black box" with wires. I mean, what we need
  10. are the entry points of his routines and the parameters that they need. To
  11. work, we don't need to mess with his code.
  12. So he could give us a source looking something like that:

  15. * parameters: 
  16. * in: such and such
  17. * out: this and that
  18.         .incbin "nodincon.bin"
  19.  
  20. Etcaetera.
  21. This way, Doug's sources aren't revealed, and we can use his routines just
  22. the same.
  23. Would this satisfy people? And you, Doug?
